GALACTIC BLAST: A COSMIC ADVENTURE PRAISING GOD! is an interactive, energizing, Bible-based VBS program that will hit the campus of St. Andrew’s on Monday, June 21 and continue through Friday, June 25! VBS will be held from 9:00 am until 12:15 pm each day. Ages 3 years (as of 9/1/2009) through 5th grade. Childcare is available for 2 years and under for the volunteers only.
After checking in with their mission pilots (adults traveling with the children) the cadets (children) will begin their day at the VBS GPS (Galactic Praise Satellite). Following the opening assembly they will meet with mission specialists at the Good News Galaxy; Orbital Observatory; Cosmic Crafts, Rocket Rec and the Astro Bistro! Each activity center will reinforce the daily Bible stories. The children will then return to the starship for the closing assembly.
Preparation for blast-off will be on Friday evening, June 18, at 7:00 pm. Plan to join us for the GALACTIC BLAST GATHERING!
The GALACTIC BLAST FANTASTIC FLIGHT FOLLOW-UP will take place on Friday evening, June 25, at 6:00 pm and will begin with food and fun in the Family Life Center! The youth will provide a dinner of hamburgers, hot dogs, drinks and all the fixin’s for a nominal charge and the children will be able to enjoy the balloons, bounce house and various games. The evening will conclude with a program in the starship (sanctuary) where the children will share with their parents, family and friends all that they have learned at GALAcTIC BLAST!

Registration fees are as follows:
before April 30, $20 per child, includes a free CD with music and computer games;
during the month of May, $25 per child and includes a free CD;
June 1 – 17, $25 per child.
If a parent or guardian is volunteering the registration fee will be waived for the first child and additional children in the family may register for half price. If both parents and/or guardians volunteer, then two children may attend for free and additional children may register for half price.
The maximum registration fee for any one family will be $50 if before April 30, $60 if before May 31 and then there is no maximum. Registering in June everyone pays the $25.
The DEADLINE for registration will be June 15, at 11:00PM., unless we fill up sooner.
